Brown bacon in a 12" Dutch Oven using 15 to 17 charcoals on the bottom. When brown remove and place on a paper towel. Next sauté your onions in the bacon grease until clear, and then stir in sliced potatoes. Add a can of 7-Up or Sprite. Salt and Pepper to taste, and cook about 40 minutes with 15 charcoal on top and 9 on the bottom. When potatoes are done, stir in peas and bacon. Sprinkle with cheese and let melt with only the charcoal on top.

10 to 12 potatoes sliced 3 onions sliced
  1 pound of bacon, diced 2 cups of frozen pea
  2 cups cheddar cheese, grated Salt and Pepper to taste
